Loyola won the boys seeded race at the 43rd Bell-Jeff Invitational with a 27-88 victory over Lancaster Desert Christian. Charlie Sherman was second in 14:35, David McAndrews placed third in 14:45, Alejandro Salinas finished fifth in 14:55, Anthony Stone set a freshman course record of 15:05 to take ninth and Brandon Cobian rounded out the Cubs' scoring runners in 10th in 15:06 on the 2.94-mile course at Griffith Park.
