Lancaster Desert Christian senior Andrew Mitchell won the boys seeded race at the 43rd Bell-Jeff Invitational, leading the Knights to a second-place finish behind Loyola by a 27-88 margin. Mitchell covered the 2.94-mile course at Griffith Park in 14:25 for the fastest boys time of the meet.
